“The Women in Aviation Awards Malta are a testament to the incredible talent and dedication of women in this industry,” said Ruth Sawers, Founder and Managing Director of Women in Aviation Malta

Her comments were made as the Malta Aviation Conference and Expo (MACE) 2024 announced its support for the inaugural Women in Aviation Awards Malta, which will take place on the evening of the first day of the MACE Conference, 2nd October 2024, at The Gazebo, Hilton Malta.

The Women in Aviation Awards Malta will celebrate the achievements of remarkable women across various categories, including leader of the year, inspirational high flyer, rising star, and the inclusion and diversity team of the year. These awards are designed to recognise the efforts and dedication of women who are making a significant impact in the aviation industry.

“It is an honour to lead this initiative and to recognise those who are driving change, breaking barriers, and inspiring the next generation,” Ms Sawers added.

Stanley Bugeja, Jonathan Dalli, and Joshua Zammit, Founders of MACE, expressed their enthusiasm about hosting the event: “We are thrilled to support the inaugural Women in Aviation Awards Malta.
