Bay Street

Daniela Briffa, a long-standing employee in local accounting departments, has joined Bay Street Group as Finance Manager.

Ms Briffa joins Bay Street Group following a lengthy tenure as an Accountant at Premium Accounting Ltd. Prior to that, she also worked as an Accountant at Chetcuti Cauchi, where she received the Extra Mile Award for her outstanding efforts.

Bay Street Group owns a varied portfolio split between three entertainment-focused pillars: retail, hospitality, and food and beverage.

Through its flagship Bay Street Shopping Complex, the group offers clients a mix of high street brands, over 50 quality independent shops, restaurants, services, family entertainment and the four-star be.HOTEL – which is owned and operated by the group.

Bay Street Group has recently enhanced its portfolio through the opening of the five-star Hyatt Regency Malta hotel and Seed restaurant. Just last year, the group also secured the opening of the Rainforest Café Malta franchise.

Earlier on in her career, Ms Briffa served a three-year tenure at FTIAS Back Office Services, during which period she held the roles of Data Inputting Clerk, Accounting Technician, Trainee Accounts Officer, and Accounts Officer.
