EBO, one of Malta’s leading AI virtual agent specialists, announced the opening of a new Cyprus office earlier today.

The new office, based inside the Cedars Oasis Tower in Limassol, will serve as a base for the management of EBO’s financial services pillar.

“The opening of our new office in Cyprus is an exciting milestone for us. Our vision is a world where customers and businesses connect more naturally and effectively,” EBO CEO Gege Gatt said.

“The technology we build is pioneering, but most importantly, it makes complete business sense. Thus, we want to ensure strategic market expansion into territories that provide opportunities for scale,” Dr Gatt continued.

At the moment, EBO offers AI-automated conversation platforms to customers across four major pillars: iGaming, telecommunications, financial services, and healthcare.

EBO’s healthcare pillar is serviced through its dedicated London office.

“This investment in a new presence in Cyprus also reflects our resolve to target more aggressively the financial services sector,” the CEO highlighted.

“[The sector] has been showing increased interest in the application of our technology to achieve more meaningful communication with customers,” he continued.

Since its foundation in 2017, EBO has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients including MAPFRE Middlesea, Gasan Mamo Insurance, and Saint James Hospital.

“We’ve developed, through machine learning, one of the most advanced Virtual Agent models around,” Dr Gatt said.

“EBO delivers meaningful outcomes by helping businesses automate repetitive processes. This transforms the cost model behind customer conversations who choose to use AI,” he concluded.
