datalitiks CEO and Founder Ana Rubio on Wednesday shared that she recently had the chance to visit global technology and innovation centre Silicon Valley in the United States.

Ms Rubio’s visit came as datalitiks officially became part of the second cohort of Plug and Play Malta, a programme that supports startups and offers mentorship, training, access to a venture capital network and business development opportunities.

As part of the programme, she had the chance to visit Plug and Play’s global headquarters in Silicon Valley, enabling her to showcase on a global level how datalitiks helps organisations “measure and monitor their sustainability efforts to drive positive impact”.

Ms Rubio launched datalitiks back in August 2022, helping clients measure and drive their ESG impact, leading to more sustainable solutions for a better future. The company delivers data-driven insights for clients and seeks to drive positive change through data analytics.

Commenting on the experience, she said that it was a “fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow tech enthusiasts from different parts of the globe”.

“Personally, it’s also been an opportunity to see firsthand where the magic happens. Silicon Valley, known as the hub for tech startups to grow, has been inspiring,” she continued.

Ms Rubio remarked that having the opportunity to visit the offices and headquarters of companies like Microsoft, Apple, and Facebook, as well as the reputable Stanford University has more than just fulfilled a “long-standing item” on her bucket list, as it has also provided her with a “great deal of inspiration” that will impact her journey as a startup Founder.
