Andrea Saliba on Monday announced that “after an eventful couple of months”, he has started a new position as Head of People & Culture (Global) at Rhino Entertainment Group.

Rhino Entertainment Group is a Malta-based online gaming operator employing a multi-brand strategy.

Mr Saliba previously served at iGaming firm Hero Gaming for close to five years, first joining as an HR Business Partner, and steadily moving up the ranks to reach Head of People & Culture, and finally Director of People & Culture.

His journey with Hero Gaming ended in November 2022 at a time when the company halved its workforce in a bid to dramatically cut operating costs. It was reported that around 60 employees left the firm, through redundancy or resignation, after staff were presented with two exit routes.

When announcing his departure from Hero Gaming, Mr Saliba shared his gratitude at forming part of the organisation, for being given the opportunity to learn and was thankful to be left with “so many positive experiences”.

He described the period in his life as “challenging” but one that offered him “many new perspectives”.

After a short stint at another iGaming firm, Mr Saliba landed in the senior role of Head of People & Culture (Global) at Rhino Entertainment Group.
