Anthony Coleiro

Anthony Coleiro announced that he has been appointed as Chairman of the Executive Board of Global Urban Development (GUD) Malta. 

Count Chev Coleiro currently holds prestigious consultancy and directorship roles in a number of local and international companies and organisations. He is a former Director of the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) and has been Ambassador for Europe, and Chairman of the Malta Chapter at the Institute of Hospitality for over 16 years.

His experience within the tourism and hospitality sectors spans nearly four decades.

Speaking of his most recent appointment, Count Chev Coleiro says that he was also “officially appointed as Senior Fellow of Global Urban Development.”

He expresses his pride in being “part of a talented and experienced team of leaders and experts to advance GUD’s global policy agenda and, in the process, help Malta become an exemplary world leader in sustainability.”

Founded in 2001, GUD is a worldwide non-profit organisation, consisting of a rapidly growing network of more than 700 dynamic and well-known urban leaders and experts in 60 countries. GUD has offices in Barcelona, Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Malta, New York, Panama City, Porto Alegre, Prague, Rehoboth, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Sydney, Toronto, and Washington, DC. 

The organisation conducts education, research, and action to promote policy ideas that help generate more prosperous, sustainable, and inclusive urban development throughout the world.
