Technology specialist Antoine Galea on Saturday announced that he has been promoted to Chief Technology & Information Officer at Epic Malta.
His new position comes after more than two years as Chief Information Officer at the telecommunications company.
“Looking forward to working alongside a great team and playing an important part in continuing the growth of Epic and to deliver a best in class service to our customers,” he said.
Prior to his time at Epic, Mr Galea spent 19 years working at Vodafone Malta, the company that rebranded to Epic in 2020. During that time, he served as Chief Information Officer, Head of IT, Head of Service Management as well as IT Services Manager, among a host of other positions.
His experience also includes more than three years as Analyst and Programmer at Sterling Enterprises Technology Services.
Mr Galea holds a Bachelor of Science in IT (Hons), Computer Engineering, and is particularly skilled in information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) process implementation and global systems for mobile communication (GSM).
Epic is one of Malta’s largest telecommunications companies, providing integrated mobile and fixed telephony, internet and specialised IT business solutions. It belongs to Monaco Telecom and is a member of a dynamic European telecoms family, which is made up of telecom providers operating in France, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Monaco and Malta.
