Rachael Blackburn, Head of Culture at APS Bank, launched a call for artistic content for the third edition of the APS Summer Festival.
“After the success of the second edition in 2021, the 2022 Festival aims to be a hub where artists dream, express, collaborate, co-create, develop, and deliver artistic content that represents them and their art,” Ms Blackburn said.
Through the implementation of said festival, APS looks to deliver “a bespoke experience to the audiences by curating an authentic festival with art and artists at its core,” the Culture Head continued.
Last year’s edition of the APS Summer Festival saw some of Malta’s top artists come together at the Valletta Waterfront to put up a series of live performances over an eight-week span.
Participating artists included Big Band Brothers, Comedy Knights, Ray Calleja, and Red Electrick.
APS Summer Festival 2022 will be taking place under the artistic direction of Annalisa Schembri and is looking to exhibit content that demonstrates excellence, creativity, sustainability, and uniqueness.
The festival is scheduled to take place late in July 2022 and will strictly follow the COVID-19 protocols issued by the Department of Public Health.
