BNF Bank plc Chief Technology Officer Daniel Cutajar on Friday acknowledged that ATMs remain an integral part of banks’ portfolio of services, despite the push towards digital banking.
He was speaking as BNF Bank installed two new additional ATMs at its Victoria, Gozo and St Paul’s Bay branches, allowing for greater convenience to customers.
“Despite the move towards virtual banking, digital payments, and going cashless, we believe it is still crucial that customers have access to a multitude of different kinds of services,” he explained.
“ATMs are still primary customer touchpoints and popular ways of dispensing cash,” he continued, before adding that BNF Bank’s “omnichannel strategy” puts its clients “at the centre” of its operations.
He added that the bank’s “diverse, convenient, and easily accessible services help them manage their finances in the ways they feel most comfortable, when and where they want, ultimately making their lives easier”.
With 12 branches spread across Malta and Gozo, BNF Bank has grown to become a key player in Malta’s financial services industry, offering a wide portfolio of products for both personal and business clients.
