Trust Payments (Malta) has been licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) since 2012 and has been operating from the islands since 2014 under the name of ‘Secure Trading Financial Services Ltd’.

The company rebranded to Trust Payments (Malta) Ltd in 2020 to be in line with its global group – Trust Payment.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in London, Trust Payments seeks to help businesses optimise their sales and customer experience through facilitating speedy and seamless payments, loyalty, and data management, thus creating truly converged commerce.

Since its launch, Trust Payments has grown to own 11 offices around the world, support 15 different languages, and serve over 20,000 customers.

Before joining Trust Payments, Ms Schembri spent three years at APS Bank, where she held the roles of Senior Credit Officer and Credit Operations Team Manager.

Her career in banking stems even further back, having served as a Lending Specialist at HSBC Bank Malta during her 12-and-a-half-year tenure at the bank.
