Matthew Camilleri

Matthew Camilleri, Founder and CEO at Floriana-based recruitment firm Castille announced that he and his family have relocated to Cork, Ireland.

Mr Camilleri announced the move on social media just last weekend, wherein he also revealed that his company is expanding its operations to the same country.

Founded in 2006, Castille is a global specialist network specialising in tech and finance. Its services include specialist recruitment, scalable staffing solutions, and digital employer branding.

“After 12 months of personal and corporate planning, I have finally put my bags down in Cork, Ireland. As my family and I get rooted into the local community, I will also be reaching out to business communities here to start putting a face to our brand in Ireland,” Mr Camilleri began.

“Castille has, in recent years, developed into a global network for hard-to-find specialist talent in tech and finance. We currently have active teams of software engineers and accountants in 28 countries, servicing clients in five markets. Our track record boasts client retention rates of 92 per cent, with many of our eight plus year clients still growing their labs teams,” he added.

The Founder-CEO went on to provide some insight into Castille’s expansion strategy, noting how “[the company’s] foray into Ireland is centred on providing the Irish ecosystem with access to [its] premium specialist talent in specific time zones.”

“I would like to thank our committed teams at Castille for making this exciting journey even possible. I would also like to thank the Irish for providing us with such a warm welcome,” he continued.

Castille’s latest expansion means that it now operates in three different countries: Malta, Ireland, and Mauritius.

Mr Camilleri also serves as a Board Member at IT@Cork – a member-driven technology cluster covering Ireland’s South-West area, as Director at San Anton Holdings Limited, and as a Non-Executive Board Member at M&Z plc.
