Charmaine Farrugia, former COO at SG Solutions Limited, joined Grant Thornton Malta as Managing Director.
The newly appointed MD took to social media to announce said appointment.
Grant Thornton Malta is a member of Grant Thornton International – a global organisation of member firms with 58,000 people in over 138 countries. Founded in 1975, the Malta firm became an official Grant Thornton member in 1991.
Up until last December, Ms Farrugia served as COO at SG Solutions Limited. Before that, she held five different roles at local telecommunications company GO for over 19 years.
Ms Farrugia joined GO as a Customer Relations Executive back in 2000 and eventually worked her way up to Chief Officer for Corporate Strategy and Business Planning.
She held the latter role up until April 2020.

He takes over from Alejandro Gosttuski, who will now take on the role of an Advisor.
The company, set to launch soon, will seek to provide clients with ‘customer-centric and innovative’ financial services.
