André Portelli, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Mosta-based Megabyte, has bid the company farewell after three years.
Mr Portelli took to social media to announce his move.
“Thank you to all my colleagues and friends at Megabyte Ltd Malta. It was an experience of a lifetime. You have been a family to me. I will cherish you all. Now off to new beginnings. I wish you all the success you deserve,” he wrote.
The outgoing CRO joined Megabyte as a Business Development Manager in August 2019. After two years in said role, he was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer.
Mr Portelli’s past experiences have seen him occupy a plethora of managerial roles within Maltese companies.
His previous positions include Senior Manager – Maritime Operations at Transport Malta, EU Policy Manager at the Ministry for Infrastructure, Transport, and Communication, Director of Liner Agency at Carmelo Caruana Co. Ltd, and Business Development and Projects Manager at PT Matic Environmental Services Ltd.
Founded in 1979 by Thomas and Carmel Galea, Megabyte has been empowering business of all sizes by providing a comprehensive, cost-effective, and continually-updated range of innovative IT solutions.
He takes over from Alejandro Gosttuski, who will now take on the role of an Advisor.
The company, set to launch soon, will seek to provide clients with ‘customer-centric and innovative’ financial services.
The Malta Stock Exchange recently joined other exchanges for the inaugural Ring the Bell for Climate initiative.
