Christopher Bartolo on Wednesday shared that he has been promoted to Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Technical Director at Red Acre Ltd.
His new positions come after almost two years at the back-office service provider, during which time he worked as CTO.
Aside from his time at Red Acre, he is also Founder of Dazzle Panel Ltd, a consultancy and advisory services company aims to identify technology barriers that stand between clients and having a more profitable business.
Additionally, he worked as Technical Director and CTO at global iGaming company Run It Once Poker for more than three years, and as Technical Director at Track Link Ltd for over four years. Mr Bartolo’s experience also includes almost two years as Team Lead and Senior PHP Developer at Blexr.
He holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from University of Malta. While he focuses on “leading by coaching” and applying “agile methodologies”, Mr Bartolo says that he is not afraid to step in and exercise his technical skills and abilities with a “hands-on approach”.
Red Acre was founded in 2019 and offers a wide array of solutions to businesses, including compliance, payments, general support and bespoke office systems. It has worked with a number of companies from various industries, including fintech and blockchain technology, with the aim to “ease the pressure of running a business and build sustainable platforms” that support and enable businesses to “leap to the next level”. While it is headquarted in St Julian’s, Malta, it also has offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
