Christopher Mallia, Area Director of Sales at Corinthia Group has bid a fond farewell to colleagues at the Corinthia and Radisson hotels, as he heads to Hungary to take on a similar role at Corinthia Hotel Budapest.

“Today marks a very important day in my life. With a heavy heart I say today is my last day working for the beautiful Corinthia St. George’s Bay Hotel, the Radisson Blu Resort, St. Julian’s and the Marina Hotel,” he wrote.

Mr Mallia described how he started as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at the Radisson Blue Resort in St Julian’s in 2016, before moving into the Sales Department a year and a half later. He then became Assistant Sales Manager for Corporate Events for the Corinthia Group’s hotels to Sales Manager MICE and Groups, and finally ending his “magnificent journey” as Director of Sales – Groups.

“I shall be continuing my Sales journey on 14th March as Director of Sales at Corinthia Budapest,” he wrote, saying that moving and working abroad was something he had been wanting to do for a while.

“It has been a pleasure working for Corinthia and Radisson in Malta and I’m very much looking forward to continuing this new journey with the Corinthia Group as a Maltese working for a Maltese brand abroad,” he concluded.

Before joining Corinthia, Mr Mallia worked as a Residence Manager at language school EF.
