Corinthia Hotels

Longstanding Corinthia Hotels Limited employee Roderick Micallef has been appointed Chief Project Officer (CPO) at the company.

Mr Micallef’s experience with the Corinthia Group dates back to 2001, when he started serving a two-and-a-half-year tenure as Finance Director at the Corinthia Palace Hotel.

After that, the CPO moved on to Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, where he served as Finance Director and Owners Representative and, later on, General Manager.

In June 2013, Mr Micallef was appointed Vice President Operations at Corinthia Hotels Limited and in 2016 he returned to Corinthia Hotel Lisbon as General Manager.

Prior to joining the hospitality giant, Mr Micallef served as an Accountant at RG Consultancy.

A subsidiary of the Corinthia Group, Corinthia Hotels spans nine luxury establishments across the world, with physical presence in Lisbon, Budapest, Prague, and Tripoli, amongst others.

The company is on track to open a further six hotels in the coming years, including one in Brussels, one in New York, and one in Rome.

Apart from Corinthia Hotels, the Corinthia Group is made up of another four companies, including International Hotel Investments plc, CDI Developments, QP Management, and Corinthia Caterers.
