“I’m really happy to be working alongside Emily Micallef, Farah Fawzi, and Wayne Formosa, and I look forward to meeting the rest of the team. I couldn’t be happier to start this new era in my career,” she continued.

Ms McKay joins happhour.io after over two decades working in the hospitality sector. From March 2021 to earlier this month she served as Cluster Director of Corporate Sales at InterContinental Malta.

Before that she spent 20 years working at The Westin Dragonara Resort, where she served as Account Director for Business Travel.

Since the start of 2022, happyhour.io has revealed a string of managerial appointments. Just last February, Kurt Farrugia joined the company as Head of Product. A month later, Matthew Anthony Pace was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at happyhour.io brand Xtended Gaming.

Founded in 2021 and led by former GiG CEO Robin Reed, happyhour.io’s investment portfolio includes Betsala, High Roller, Kanuuna, and Livespins.
