“We are truly proud to be one of six finalists globally. Such a recognition is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and loyalty towards our clients and team members”, he wrote.

“Such a recognition is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and loyalty towards our clients and team members. It is the result of years of investment in our internationalisation programme, with GTG and its sister advisory company Afilexion Alliance dedicating continuous efforts in building and maintaining online gaming regulatory expertise in a number of jurisdictions,” the Director added.

The sixth edition of the Global Regulatory Awards, hosted by VIXIO GamblingCompliance, is set to take place on 30th November at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, Central London.

According to the host, such awards are ‘a celebration of responsible individuals, teams, and businesses within the compliance and gambling industry’.

“[GTG’s shortlisting] is also the result of the network we built with other regulatory / law firms internationally, whereby our team collaborated in numerous cross border M&A and licensing transactions,” Mr Portanier added.

“It is the result of our team’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism, who always go that extra mile for our clients. It is truly an honour to be flying our corporate flag and that of Malta,” he concluded.

Other finalists for this award come from the UK, Germany, Tel Aviv, the US, and the Netherlands.

GTG Advocates, an all-service law firm, was established in 1997 and offers advice and assistance in the fields of citizenship and residence, shipping, commercial and corporate law, and financial services, amongst other things.
