ELIZABETH CARBONARO

Elizabeth Carbonaro has been appointed Non-Executive Director of ReAPS Management Limited thus replacing Edward Cachia, who retired as Director at the company’s recently held Annual General Meeting.

ReAPS Asset Management Limited is the wholly owned subsidiary of APS Bank plc active in fund and investment management services.

Ms Carbonaro is a chartered certified accountant by profession, having gained years of accounting and insurance experience a PwC Malta, PwC Luxembourg, and MAPFRE Middlesea.

In 2012, Ms Carbonaro joined Willis Tower Watson (WTW), where she managed a number of insurance companies domiciled in Malta. Four years later she was appointed Managing Director of the company’s Malta office and in 2018 she took on the role of Regional Managing Director for the WTW Global Captive Practice, Western Europe.

“We welcome Elizabeth to the ReAPS Board knowing full well that her extensive experience and solid professional credentials will be of benefit to the APS Bank Group’s ambitions in this area of investment services,” APS Bank CEO Marcel Cassar said.

Ms Carbonaro also sits on various Captive and Insurance Company Boards and is the Chairperson of the Malta Insurance Management Association.
