Michael Farrugia, Executive Director for Operations and Business Development at Farsons Group presided over the launch of Cisk 0.0 in India.

Mr Farrugia was accompanied by Farsons Head of International Business Stephen Sultana, High Commissioner of Malta to India Reuben Gauci, and A & Z Exports International CEO Sahil Tandon, amongst others.

Farsons Group had first announced its plans to launch Cisk 0.0 in Northern India last May – an activity made possible thanks to its exclusive distribution agreement with A & Z Exports International.

This represents Farsons Group’s first ever shipment to India. Should the product launch prove successful, the company has a series of further shipments planned for the coming year-and-a-half.

Norman Aquilina, Group CEO at Farsons, took to social media to celebrate Cisk 0.0’s launch.

“The Farsons Group would like to express its appreciation to A & Z Exports International for the launch of Cisk Non-Alcoholic Beer in Delhi and Jalandhar, and for the on-going support received from the Malta High Commission to India,” he wrote.

“Special thanks to J. K. Tandon, Chairman of A & Z Group, Sahil Tandon, CEO of A & Z Group, and His Excellency Reuben Gauci, Malta High Commissioner to India. Wishing all the success in this new venture,” Mr Aquilina added.

Cisk 0.0 is one of Farsons’ newest products. The drink is brewed using the same traditional and natural ingredients as Cisk before having its alcohol removed through a gentle process specifically designed to retain the beer’s flavour.
