Alison Vassallo, Partner and Head of the Yachting Department at Fenech & Fenech Advocates has been appointed as the Malta Legal Representative for the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA).
Ms Vassallo joined Fenech & Fenech Advocates in the capacity of a Partner back in 2015. She also acts as Chairperson of the Yachting Services Business Section within The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise, and Industry.
The MYBA is made up of corporate and individual members who have a proven track record of professional excellence and are involved in many levels of the disciplines which constitute the superyacht industry.
The MYBA is also the creator of the industry’s most respected and widely used contracts; the MYBA Sales & Purchase Agreement (MoA), and the MYBA Charter Agreement.
Taking to social media, Fenech & Fenech Advocates wrote that by virtue of Ms Vassallo’s latest appointment, she shall also “form part of the MYBA EU Legal Consortium (MEULC)”.
The MEULC is composed of leading lawyers from the main yachting jurisdictions who both advise MYBA and their key members on key legal issues and also act as their representative before the competent local authorities of the jurisdictions concerned.
