Fexserv Fund Services, a subsidiary of Alpine Group, took to social media to commemorate Group CEO Lawrence Buttigieg’s 15th anniversary in his current role.

“During the past 15 years, Mr Buttigieg has led our Group, driving progress and pushing us to lead in creating opportunities,” the company wrote.

“Building on the strong foundations laid by our visionary Chairman, Tony Zahra, the Group has continued to extend into becoming a financial services leader across multiple operations,” it continued.

Alpine Group was first established by Mr Zahra in 1967, starting off as car hire operator Alpine Rent-A-Car.

Nowadays, the group has broadened its portfolio, with market share in the development, education, fund services, transportation, and pest control industries, amongst others.

Alpine Group presently employs over 250 workers.

“[Mr Buttigieg] has made it our mission to provide a best-in-class and consistent level of service, create innovative concepts, and generate value added,” Fexserv Fund Services continued.

“All of this whilst maintaining an ethical and equal opportunities corporate environment in which we feel privileged to participate,” the company concluded.

Mr Buttigeg was appointed Group CEO at Alpine Group in May 2007, after a tenure as Assistant Manager at PwC Malta.

Currently, Alpine Group is comprised of the following companies: NuBis Centre, Alpha Projects, Leaseplant, Octavo, Fexserv Financial Services, Bastion Wealth, ITC International Pensions, Fexserv Fund Services, The Gift Voucher Shop, Comtec Services, Alpine Rent-A-Car, and Alpine Travel.
