David Darmanin, former Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) Manager at APS Bank, took to social media to announce that he will be returning to Bank of Valletta (BOV) after a two-and-a-half-year break – this time as Head of Portfolio Delivery.
Mr Darmanin joined APS Bank as BPR Manager in March 2019. His responsibilities included customer on-boarding, loan origination and servicing, and other ad hoc initiatives.
Prior to his role at APS, Mr Darmanin spent 22 years at BOV working in a variety of roles.
“These recent years have been some of the best of my working life,” Mr Darmanin wrote.
“I thank Herve Delpech for your ever-insightful leadership and for believing in me as BPR Manager. Thanks to Angele De Mesquita for your focus, always striving for the best outcomes, and for being the best manager one could ask for,” he continued.
Mr Darmanin had started his journey at BOV as a Clerk in 1996. Over the years he experienced a diverse range of roles, from Trader and Business Relationship Officer to Senior Officer and eventually, Manager.
“I will be taking on an exciting role as Head of Portfolio Delivery at Bank of Valletta, where I look forward to re-kindling some ‘old acquaintances and to making some new ones as the bank continues on its journey,” Mr Darmanin concluded.
