A former CEO at INDIS Malta, Joseph Attard has been appointed to the same top position at state utility billing company ARMS.

Mr Attard replaces Silvio Scerri, who had initially been appointed to the role in November 2018.

No stranger to state-run entities, Mr Attard’s former position at INDIS Malta saw him oversee the running of the agency, responsible for operating government-owned industrial estates,

He has a background in architecture and civil engineering.

Prior to his time at INDIS Malta, Mr Attard served at the Malta Transport Authority, and for the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools. He has also spent time in Tunisia and Iraq, working on infrastructural projects in the region.

ARMS, in a statement, thanked outgoing CEOO Silvio Scerri for this “sterling” work.
