Heritage Malta, the national agency for museums, conservation practice, and cultural heritage, appointed Mario Cutajar as its new Chairman.

Mario Cutajar / Heritage Malta

Mr Cutajar retired from his position as Head of Public Service last month after 47 years of working within various government departments and parastatal bodies – including Heritage Malta.

He was appointed Head of Public Service in 2013, a position which he held up until his resignation last month.

Over the past years, Mr Cutajar has occupied the post of Executive Director on Heritage Malta’s Board of Directors and played a crucial role in bringing several of the agency’s projects and initiatives to fruition.

Heritage Malta said that it will ‘continue to write the new chapter in its story, whereby it is widening its vision and placing visitors at the very core of all its endeavours.’
