George Douglas appointed Chief HSSEQ Officer at Medserv Regis

Earlier today, Medserv Regis announced the appointment of George Douglas as its Chief Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality (HSSEQ) Corporate Officer, effective as of 31st July 2021.

Prior to this appointment, Mr Douglas occupied the role of Regional HSSEQ Manager & Port Facility Security Officer for Malta, Libya, and Egypt at the same company.

Mr Douglas joined Medserv Regis as an HSSEQ Advisor back in 2016, where he worked as an HSSEQ Advisor and HSSEQ Manager before taking on the aforementioned roles.

The newly-appointed Chief HSSEQ Officer holds a considerable amount of international experience, having worked at a plethora of UK-based companies including but not limited to STEP Oiltools and QuEnSH Specialists Limited.

Based in Birzebbuga, Medserv provides integrated shore base logistics to the offshore oil and gas industry as well as engineering and supply chain management for oil country tubular goods.

The company’s operations extend far beyond Maltese borders, with bases in the Mediterranean rim countries of Italy, Cyprus, Portugal, Libya, and Egypt.
