Andrew Azzopardi, long-serving General Manager of No12 Fine Wines and Provisions Ltd – a Salvo Grima Group company – marked his last day in said position as he moves on to focus on his new business.
“It was an incredible 10-year journey working with Salvo Grima Group, whose shareholders and Directors backed me and the business to become the international company it is today, successfully supplying some of the largest mega-yachts around the world,” Mr Azzopardi wrote.
“I am indebted to the advice and support from CEO Karl Aquilina and Chairman Robert C. Aquilina throughout the years. I have learned so much from you – thank you,” he continued.
Before joining No12 Fine Wines and Provisions, Mr Azzopardi served as a Business Strategy Consultant at Thought3D as well as a Regional Sales Manager in the wines and spirits trade.
Looking back at his experience with Salvo Grima Group, the outgoing GM thanked the colleagues who “are the main reason behind [his] success.”
“I could reminisce all day, but towards the future I must look. Though I am excited with what can be achieved with my new business, Vintage82 Ltd, I hope not to lose touch with anybody, and maybe meet up over a glass of wine,” he concluded.
Founded last year, Mr Azzopardi’s company focuses on the importing and bespoke sourcing of some of the finest and rarest wines in the world. Vintage82 also supplies premium and ultra-premium wines for shops, restaurants, and private cellars.
