Emanuel Zammit, Head of Recruitment Services and Business Consultancy at GCS Malta, has celebrated his third anniversary with the company.

Mr Zammit noted the various obstacles both he and the company had to face when he joined back in 2019.

“A company, with only eight employees across all departments, with a vision to grow in the coming years. A recruitment company, fresh on the island, without any clients or candidates on the database. No previous direct management experience, yet I took the Recruitment Team Leader role,” he wrote.

Mr Zammit said the journey had been full of “challenges, achievements, success and sometimes tough situations. A journey full of learning curves, decisions and hard work.”

“Today, GCS Malta employes 50 people across all departments and we are six in the Recruitment Department (soon to be eight)!” he wrote, adding that it had been a privilege.

Mr Zammit has held a number of roles within GCS, starting as a Recruitment Team Leader before moving up the ranks to become Recruitment & Operations Manager, Business Development Manager and Account Manager, and finally Head of Recruitment Services and Business Consultancy.

He had previously worked at Reed Specialist Recruitment Malta.
