Simon Mifsud, Head of Retail at Valletta-based Retail International Group, celebrated the company’s opening of a new M&S Foodhall in Victoria, Gozo.

“After months of planning, we have finally opened our doors to our customers on the island of Gozo, with a new M&S Foodhall,” Mr Mifsud wrote.

“The store is also home to quality wines from around the world and a delightful assortment of chocolates and snacks – perfect for gifts and treats,” he continued.

Mr Mifsud joined Retail International Group back in 2015 as Group Sales & Operations Manager. He held said role for seven years, before being promoted to Head of Retail last November.

“This is our seventh store, which marks another milestone in our expansion plan. We are striving to be closer to our customers, offering convenience shopping when it’s needed most,” Mr Mifsud added.

“A huge thanks for all the dedication and commitment shown throughout, from each and every team member involved,” he concluded.

Founded in 2006, Retail International Group has since established a strong reputation in the retail world as one of the pioneers in fashion retailing across Malta and North Africa.

Presently, the company operates a network of over 20 stores under various brands, including Marks & Spencer, Aldo, LC Waikiki, and Punt Roma.
