The Academy of Givers is offering a unique opportunity to CEOs and companies to learn how to give back to the community with greater impact, increase customer loyalty, as well as engage with some of Malta’s most inspiring social purpose organisations and industry leaders.

The Academy of Givers is hosting its second annual For Impact Event at the end of the month, on 28th March 2023, at Salini Resort. This unique, full-day event is an excellent opportunity to learn how to give back to the community with greater impact and engage with some of Malta’s most inspiring corporates and social purpose organisations.

At this event, you’ll have the chance to hear from local and international experts on topics including impact, sustainability, corporate responsibility, and giving. You’ll also have access to hands-on workshops, themed discussions, and networking activities. And don’t miss the exciting NGO Pitch Fest and Impact Fair, where you’ll get to see first-hand the impact of voluntary organisations, CSR projects, and NGOs.

The For Impact Event is targeted at business CEOs and executives, HR and CSR managers, ESG and sustainability officers, corporate and philanthropic foundations. It’s a unique opportunity to discover how corporate responsibility and giving can help your company create effective impact and improve your business.

For this event, the Academy of Givers is excited to bring to Malta key-note speakers Will Gardner, co-founder of Motive, who has inspired and equipped a global community of 6,000 marketers to put social purpose at the heart of their brand; as well as Miles Webber, Partner and co-head of ESG and FGS Global, who was also Group Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director at the UK’s largest listed commercial property company, Landsec. The workshops will be conducted by various local and international speakers, including Muriel Arts, senior partner and CEO of impacting.today, a consulting and management firm, specializing in sustainability for agri-food-horticulture businesses & brands.

Commenting on the upcoming event, CEO at the Academy of Givers Louisa Attard said: “It is our responsibility to be active citizens within society and contribute to the improvement of our planet and country. This can be done through a variety of ways; the way we operate our businesses, give back and support the social sector. Whatever we do, let’s ensure that we do it well and that we give effectively. This event is a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders, find solutions and understand ways of giving better.”

Established by Inspirasia Foundation, the Gasan Foundation and Nathan Farrugia, the Academy of Givers brings together a growing community of businesses and individuals with the aim of improving corporate responsibility and giving efforts, by providing a platform where like-minded individuals come together, learn, share, be recognised and more importantly, be inspired. It is aimed at changing the way businesses and individuals think about creating positive impact through tangible actions.

Tickets for the For Impact Event can be purchased from Showshappening. Social purpose organisations and Academy Members can contact the team at info@academyofgivers.org for discounted tickets.
