“Over the years, networking events seem to have evolved from social get-togethers to higher-value professional platforms, and many of us are becoming more selective when choosing which to attend.

“If you only consider what you can get out of networking, you may find it difficult to strike up meaningful connections.”

It involves establishing a common interest and should be a learning opportunity. It pays to prepare and be someone that others want to connect with.”
