HSBC Malta

Brian Tortell, outgoing Head of Contact Centre at HSBC Malta, took to social media to bid the bank farewell after over 15 years of employment.

Mr Tortell joined the bank back in 2006 as Head of Marketing – a position which he held for around six years. After that, he was appointed Head of Premier, Advance and Retail Banking, and two years later Senior Head of Customer Experience.

He took on the role of Head of Contact Centre back in 2016.

“It’s really been a privilege to have spent the last years of my career working in a challenging and ever-changing organization like HSBC,” Mr Tortell wrote.

“The colleagues and friends I have worked with, especially those in Marketing and Contact Centre, have helped me to grow personally and professionally. However, now is the time to close this chapter and move on,” he continued.

Before joining HSBC Malta, Mr Tortell held several senior roles at Air Malta, the Prime Minister’s Office, and Mediterranean Conference Centre.

“I don’t know what my next steps are going to be, but I’m sure that they will be as interesting and exciting as my previous ones,” Mr Tortell concluded his post.
