“I’ve been asked recently how come I never changed jobs,” wrote Robert Zammit, Partner at legal firm WH Partners, in a post on social media.
Reflecting on his 15 year career within the firm, Dr Zammit says his decision to remain loyal to WH Partners “was definitely not because of lack of opportunity”.
“What I’ve realised is that I was lucky to go into a new law firm and grow with it and in it, which made it redundant looking elsewhere for my development. In reality, whilst growing within the firm I got different roles so, although I didn’t change company, I did progress in my career,” he asserted.
Beginning his career there as legal intern in 2006, Dr Zammit went on to become Partner in 2018, or as he describes it, “from 0 experience to being recognised as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 EMEA [Europe, Middle East and Africa] for three years in a row,” referencing the legal rankings organisation that analyses the capabilities of law firms across the world.
“Looking back at these 15 years, I cannot but be proud of what WH has become and achieved and thankful for what I have gained, professionally and personally.”
