Ta’ Xbiex-based ICON has welcomed IT guru Ayrton Carter as its new Head of Strategic Alliances.
Founded in 2000, ICON is a well-renowned local digital service provider, offering clients a wide array of solutions, ranging from IT consultancy to custom software development.
The company’s long list of clients includes European insurance giant RCI Insurance, national carrier Air Malta, the Malta International Airport, and Laferla.
Mr Carter revealed the news of his appointment on social media.
The newly appointed Head of Strategic Alliances holds a wealth of experience in the local IT industry. Prior to joining ICON, he served as General Manager at Newtech Malta for five years.
Before that, Mr Carter held the following roles: Chief Information Officer and Head of ICT / Group IT Manager at M. Demajo Group, IT Manager (Lead Admin) at TRC Family Entertainment Limited, and Systems Administrator at Seifert Systems.
Mr Carter holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Networking as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Henley Business School.
