This week, Ladurée Malta, via its social media channels, officially published wanted ads for a variety of positions at its upcoming branch on the island.

Job positions have been advertised for assistant managers, supervisors, baristas, servers, hosts, chef de partie, strewards and helpers, indicating that works are ramping up to open the globally recognised patisserie on the island.

In January of this year, a façade at Sliema’s The Point also revealed where the bakery will be located.

The recruitment post was shared across Ladurée Malta’s different social media platforms, as well as by businesswoman Diane Izzo, who is also CEO of Dizz Group, the company behind the French brand’s addition to Malta.

In 2022, WhosWho.mt reported that the French brand would be setting up shop in Malta. This had followed earlier reports that it was coming to Malta in 2019, when Testa Catering Concepts had signed a 10-year franchise agreement.

According to sources, the local company is no longer behind the agreement.

The famous brand was established in 1862 and is a French manufacturer and retailer of confectioneries. In particular, it is known for its double-decker macaron.

Apart from its outlets in Paris, France, the brand can be found in different European countries, North and Central America, Asia, and Africa.
