Product expert Reuben Borg has joined Malta-based IT company Hotjar as a Senior Product Manager.

Mr Borg joins the fully remote company after spending a year-and-a-half as Product Manager at Blexr – a locally headquartered entity specialising in digital marketing.

The newly appointed Senior Product Manager holds a wealth of experience in product, technology, and data.

One of his first industry-related roles dates back to 2010, when he joined John’s Group as Data Manager. He held said position for just over two years before moving on to Uniblue Systems Ltd as BI Specialist.

Over the span of six years, Mr Borg enjoyed two promotions: first to Product Manager and then to Head of Product and Development.

Between 2016 and 2018, he served as Head of Product at Ellp – an experience followed by a two-year tenure at Catena Media’s product department.

Hotjar, Mr Borg’s new place of work, is one of the country’s most successful start-ups.  The company helps clients visualise user behaviour on their website/s whilst facilitating user feedback.

Just last year, Hotjar was acquired by digital giant Contentsquare – a move which is expected to help the Maltese company maximise its growth.

Hotjar presently serves customers around over 180 countries and employs over 200 workers across Europe, the Americas, and Africa.
