In the process of taking their business or product to the international market to expand their global footprint, companies may lose sight of the importance of embracing inclusivity and diversity in their work practices that respect the ways of the country they’re expanding in.
However, the importance and value of inclusivity – whether at the workplace or in how business is conducted – are ever increasing, and for software company HandsOn Systems, this was a natural part of their internationalisation process.
Sharing his thoughts about this, CEO Geoffrey Farrugia says “Internationalisation is not just about selling your product globally. It is about sharing knowledge, culture and experiences and understanding the needs of a country and adapt accordingly.”

Currently, the company is expanding its business in Ghana, where it most recently installed a GPS fleet management and in-vehicle CCTV solution for Accra Brewery.
Based in Malta, HandsOn Systems, which specalises in telematics and GPS technologies, has expanded its business to several countries in recent years, partnering with companies in Italy, Ghana and Oman among others.
