Fabio Muscat, CEO at OZO Group, took to social media to explain the reasoning behind the rebranding of OZO Malta, which is part of the aforementioned group.
Founded in 1996, OZO Group is an award-winning group of companies that specialises in the outsourcing and service industries. Presently, the group employs over 3,000 workers across the board.
“When one hears the word ‘OZO’, one things of a long-standing family-run company, which started with one man and a business idea over 26 years ago as ‘OZO Systems Limited’. This later changed to ‘OZO Malta’ and has now become ‘OZO’,” Mr Muscat explained.
“Over the years, the group worked at securing its position in the local market whilst continuously looking to expand beyond the Maltese horizon. With the company officially opening its first international branch in Budapest earlier this year, the Directors believed it was the right time for a branding update,” he continued.
Mr Muscat announced the group’s expansion to Hungary last January, thereby revealing that OZO Group was ‘chosen by an international brand to offer [its] services in the bustling city of Budapest’.
“With reference to the name change, focus has been placed on ‘OZO’ to open doors to international markets and have a more streamlined brand when the company is presented and used throughout,” the Group CEO added.
“The branding was created with the three company pillars in mind: our people, our values, and our evolution – three important aspects which are the basis of all company decisions and brought out in the day-to-day actions of each employee,” he continued.
Since its foundation, OZO Group has steadily grown its portfolio of services, so much so that it now holds market share in the hospitality, retail and manufacturing, cleaning, care, condominium management, and sanitisation industries.
“A key element of the new branding is the new logo. The logo is a mix of modern elements representing contemporary thinking and future endeavours, together with a classic touch to represent the ties with its original foundations,” Mr Muscat concluded.
This concept allows employees to start their Mondays focusing on doing the minimum required.
