Antoine Attard, Head of Operations at events and ticketing platform Chitzo, took to social media to celebrate the company’s first year of operations.
Founded in 2020, Chitzo allows users in the UK and Malta to view and book tickets for events happening in their vicinity.
“Last week we celebrated one year since we launched Chitzo in Malta. While out celebrating a friend’s book launch, I took a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the journey over the last 12 months,” Mr Attard wrote.
“One thing stood out – it wasn’t easy. I’d go on to say that it was the biggest challenge of my life,” he continued.
Before joining Chitzo, Mr Attard held a number of different roles at various companies – these include CRM and Lead Generation Executive at ANCHOVY, Associate Consultant at PwC Malta, and President at the Malta University Sports Club.
“Those who know me well will have definitely heard me preach that comfort is the enemy of progress – and yeah, this statement stands tall right now,” Mr Attard wrote.
“I cherish the relationships built with all our listers (more than 250 now) and connecting their events with thousands of people looking for things to do,” he continued.
Chitzo underwent considerable growth throughout the past year, with the platform registering 13,000 unique visitors last June. 2021 also saw Chitzo bring on its first advertisers.
“I extend my appreciation for the support I had from the international team, in particular from Richard Gwatkin, my family, and best friends. Thank you,” Mr Attard concluded.
