Pierre Mifsud on Wednesday announced that he has joined his wife Liana Mifsud at iTalent PLUS as Director, on the day he turned 43.

The move represents an “exciting new page” in his career, as he has opted to “take the leap” to join the recruitment firm which Ms Mifsud founded last year.

“In such a short period of time, she’s grown a remarkable, thriving recruitment business. I’m proud and excited to partner with her to continue this exciting journey,” he said.

As a result, he has bid farewell to Booming Games, the company he worked at for almost six years, over three of which as Head of Account Management, and two as Head of Sales & Account Management.

“What years of growth. From a young company to now being one of the most recognised slot providers in the industry. I am glad to have played a part,” Mr Mifsud said, before thanking the company, particularly Chief Commercial Officer Frederik Niehusen for the opportunity. “I wish you every success for the future,” he added.

Aside from his time at Booming Games, Mr Mifsud also served as Key Account Manager & Games of Chance Manager at Betsson Group for more than three years, and as Product Manager – Casino & Poker at Bally Technologies. His career also includes experiences at Interwetten, Dorobet Ltd, BAWAG Malta Bank Ltd, and Volksbank Malta Ltd.

He is also a Trainer and Consultant for the iGaming industry through iGaming Academy.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Management, Banking and Finance from University of Malta, among other qualifications.

iTalent PLUS was founded by Ms Mifsud last year, bringing together her over 10 years of experience in human resources to simplify the recruitment process while also striving to “present the best candidates for the specific business needs”.
