DENIS ZAMMIT CUTAJAR

Following a commitment made between P. Cutajar Foundation to the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation (MGDF) back in 2017 to donate two guide dogs, P. Cutajar & Co. CEO Denis Zammit Cutajar was finally given the opportunity to meet the two dogs – Dora and Adel – at his company’s offices.

P. Cutajar & Co is a trustee of the P. Cutajar Foundation, a voluntary organisation seeking to provide funding to deserving individuals, groups, and causes, amongst other things.

“Now that the two dogs are fully trained and in service, it is a pleasure to see them interact so well with their new owners,” Mr Zammit Cutajar said.

Dora was matched with Christine Mifsud, becoming Ms Mifsud’s second guide dog, whilst Adel was matched with Alfred Reale, who only became visually impaired in recent years.

Set up in 2015, the P. Cutajar Foundation is committed to sponsor and thus enable visually impaired person to gain freedom and independence.

“Visually impaired persons have enough challenges to overcome in these times and, knowing that their guide dog is totally dedicated to them, is so wonderful,” the CEO concluded.

Mr Zammit Cutajar highlighted that he wished to make this donation public in a bid to encourage other companies and institutions to support the MGDF.
