Jean Paul Attard, a long-standing Director at the JA Malta Foundation, took to social media to mark the end of this phase of his career.
“All good things come to an end,” Mr Attard stated.
“Serving on the JA Malta Foundation Board of Directors has been a privilege. Being part of the Maltese team that was crowned with the Model Nation award for four consecutive years was truly an honour,” he added.
JA Malta is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that was founded in 1989. It aims to provide entrepreneurship education programmes at all levels of the educational system.
Mr Attard joined JA Malta in the capacity of Director just under eight years ago.
“Above all, the energy and gratification derived from seeing hundreds of students successfully completing the various JA Malta educational programmes in entrepreneurship over these past eight years made the journey an unparalleled and enriching experience,” he concluded.
Mr Attard graduated with a Master in Business Administration, Strategic Marketing and International Hospitality Management from the University of Leicester in 2006.
He is currently Head of Operations at the National Development and Social Fund.
Mr Attard is also a Member of the Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee within the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government and a Member of the Scholarships Appeals Board within the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth Research and Innovation.
