John Montanaro, a well-known name in the local business sphere, took to social media to celebrate his new role as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Smart Technologies Ltd.
Smart Technologies was founded back in 2008 and is currently considered to be one of Malta’s leading IT companies.
Mr Montanaro described Smart Technologies as “a company that has been growing from strength to strength.”
“I am looking forward to continuing this exciting journey with them,” he added.
Mr Montanaro brings with him decades of experience in senior roles, having served as Chief Commercial Officer at Luqa-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company Evolve prior to joining Smart Technologies.
“I am grateful for my time at Evolve. It was a great experience in a fascinating industry,” the newly appointed CRO wrote.
“Special thanks goes to [Chief Visionary Officer] Christopher Busuttil Delbridge for the opportunity and my former colleagues, from whom I have learnt a lot,” he added.
Earlier on in his career, Mr Montanaro served as Head of Business Development at FCM Bank Ltd, Associate Director at Castille, Head of SME at Vodafone, and General Manager at Diamonds International Malta.
The company, with offices in Malta and Portugal, specialises in event management services.
