John Paul Antoncich has been named Director at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Management Malta, he shared on Tuesday.

Aside from his new role, he is also Account Director at the consulting firm, a position he has been entrusted with since April 2020. In that role, he is responsible for managing a team on the provision of insurance management services, including accounting, secretarial, risk management and compliance. These include the review of management accounts, regulatory returns and financial statements, together with other financial information.

Mr Antoncich had first joined the company as Senior Client Services Specialist in 2018.

Prior to his time at WTW Management Malta, he occupied the roles of Risk Manager and Finance Manager at Malta-based Elmo Insurance Limited. He also spent almost four years as Audit Senior and Supervisor at Deloitte Malta.

Mr Antoncich holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from University of Malta, and throughout his career has specialised in financial reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He describes himself as someone who is “willing to step up and into any challenge which is put forward”.

With origins dating back to 1828, WTW is a consulting firm that provides “data-driven, insight-led solutions” in the areas of people, risk and capital. It serves 140 countries and markets, and has offices in Floriana, Malta, operating as WTW Management Malta.
