Formerly Vodafone Malta’s Head of Commercial Operations, Joseph Azzopardi has been appointed by Convenience Group as the executive responsible for expanding the chain’s retail presence and taking care of its franchise outlets.
Mr Azzopardi brings a wealth of experience to the Group after occupying various positions within the global telecommunications brand.
In a statement, the Group considers the addition to the team of Mr Azzopardi as “an invaluable asset to the Convenience Group and its business partners.”
Convenience Group CEO, Martin Agius, said “Joseph will bring a new dimension to our company and is the kind of high-calibre executive we have been seeking to recruit to continue strengthening our executive team as we seek to take the Group forward.”
Currently, the Convenience Shop has a portfolio of 72 outlets, making it Malta’s largest daily needs retailer.
