Justin Azzopardi, an experienced employee in the iGaming and HR spheres, has been appointed Head of People at leading sports and digital entertainment platform KingMakers.
Founded in 2018, the London-based iGaming company is particularly popular in the African continent. KingMakers is focused on combining technology, customer insight, and talent to give sports fans a better, more rewarding, and engaging experience.
Before joining KingMakers, Mr Azzopardi served as Head of HR at Lopoca Gaming. This followed a three-year stint as Head of HR and HR Business Partner at online casino company Videoslots.
Mr Azzopardi’s foray into the HR sphere was spurred forward by his achievement of an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Leicester in 2012.
After that, he held a range of positions, including Recruitment Specialist at SpotOn Connections, Academic Tutor & Examiner at the University of Malta, Lead Business Partner at Multiplex Partners, and Learning and Development Specialist at the European Asylum Support Office.
