Karen Zammit, Head of Global HR at international gambling software development company Playtech, took to social media to celebrate her department’s triumph at the Playtech Team Awards.
“Congratulations to my amazing HR team for winning the Playtech Team Awards. We’re responsible for 6,500 employees all around the world,” Ms Zammit wrote.
“Thank you for giving our employees a successful journey at Playtech. You all do your work with a lot of pride and dedication,” she continued.
Ms Zammit joined Playtech as HR Manager and HeadHunter back in 2017. Just over two years later she was promoted to Head of Global HR.
Prior to joining Playtech, Ms Zammit served as HR Director at Malta-based Optimizer Invest. She also held several IT recruitment-related roles at Pentasia International over an eight-year span.
The Head of Global HR had nominated the HR department for a Playtech Team Award in a bid to recognize “its excellent work that helps move [the company] towards becoming the leader in the gambling technology industry.”
Founded in 1999, Playtech is one of the world’s largest online gaming software suppliers traded on the London Stock Exchange Main Market.
