Karl DeGiovanni announced that he has been promoted to Director of Client Solutions for Europe the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Aon Captive and Insurance Management at Aon.
The financial services company specialises in offering companies commercial risk, health, reinsurance and wealth solutions to help businesses grow and thrive. Aon has offices in 14 locations and services clients in over 120 destinations worldwide.
Mr DeGiovanni joined Aon as a Financial Account Manager in 2008 while he was based in Guernsey, United Kingdom. Since then he has been promoted to Senior Manager, Associate Director, Deputy General Manager, and Managing Director in 2017, a role he occupied for the past six years.
In his most recent role as Managing Director he was responsible Aon’s captive and insurance management office in Malta and also sat on the Boards of Aon Insurance Managers (Malta) PCC Limited, as well as White Rock Europe and White Rock Netherlands, Aon’s flagship protected cell vehicles established in Malta.
Prior to joining Aon, Mr DeGiovanni was Group Financial Controller and Head of Information Technology at NSTS Malta, Financial Controller at CSMR (1994) Limited and Accountant at Richard J Attard & Co.
