Katya Saliba who has held the role of Sales Manager at St Julians-based Hyatt Regency Malta for the past year and a half, has been promoted to Director of Sales.

Announcing the news to LinkedIn, Ms Saliba commented that she is grateful for the opportunity and “thrilled for this next step”.

Ms Saliba’s career has always been in business management, sales, marketing, and events.

Prior to her role at Hyatt Regency, she served as Senior Sales Manager of Events and Group Operations at hotel and real estate company Corinthia Group for almost three years. Additionally, Ms Saliba also served as Sales and Marketing Manager at Is-Suq tal-Belt for a year-and-a-half.

“I am fascinated in understanding human motivators and adapting behaviour to build successful relationships,” she said on her profile of LinkedIn.

Ms Saliba holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management and Finance from University of Malta, as well as a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from Digital Marketing Institute.
