DL Group

Lawrence Spiteri has been appointed CEO at Malta-based company DL Group Imports, he announced on Tuesday.

His new role comes after he bid farewell to Corinthia Group last month, calling time on his more than 30-year journey at the hospitality company. At the time, he had told MaltaCEOs.mt that he was considering the different options and offers he has on the table.

“I am positive that I will be moving to a new chapter,” Mr Spiteri had confirmed in December.

Now, after over four decades working in the hospitality industry, he has taken the plunge to work in a completely different industry, that of alternative and high technology imports.

DL Group, established in 2017 and based in Marsa, is a dynamic and diversified company that imports a wide range of products within the alternative energy area, including solar thermal water heating and photovoltaic tracking and fixed systems. It completes the installations of different products in hotels, factors, and commercial outlets.

Mr Spiteri is qualified in food and beverage from the Institute of Tourism Studies, and also holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Management from Idea Academy. He is a strong operations professional who also graduated from ICE Malta.
